AM- 4 miles easy usual route. It was a very nice time having coach with us this morning. I was accused of being a full-blown racist afterwards so that was kewl.

PM- 60 minutes EASY w/striders. Drove to Highland park to help out the Running Center deliver flyers about the Southern Utah Half coming up to all the houses on the ridge. That was pretty fun, then we ran up on the ridge forever, out on the far side as well as to the water tower, then we went to the park and got a barefoot mile in, then we did some barefoot striders. Pretty fun day today. I have to kiss a girl before Jake. Or at least before the summer is over. This time it's going to actually work... Last time was a wreck.

On a seperate note, I've been thinking a lot about the spiritual aspect of running lately. I'm well aware of the physical and mental parts, but just recently I have started thinking about how it touches my soul and how I use it to come closer to God (k maybe not in a lot of easy runs like today, but I definitely do in races and workouts). Thought about Phillippeans 4:13 that says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. I think this includes things like running PRs and pushing through tough workouts and stuff like that. And the spiritual aspect doesn't even have to be religious. It can effect your feelings and your morals and really just everything about you. Dang.
