I'M BACK! I really gotta start doing this more often cause it's fun... I have been keeping up my week report on pvxc.blogspot.com , but this is a lot more fun so I'll start doing both again.

AM- 75 minutes total w/striders. Nice pack up there today. Went out on prospector which is my favorite trail so that was a plus. Felt sick all weekend and still today am feeling congested. My ear still hasn't popped since coming down from Brian Head yesterday... Which I will report on right now!

Brian Head: Went up Friday to my grandparent's cabin on Aspen (drive or lane or street idk) and stayed until Sunday evening. Got some good 4 wheeler rides in and a couple hikes. Church yesterday was dope because they hold it in the town hall and sometimes there's only like 10 people there but this time there were like 40. Also I got to go in a T-shirt and shorts because I didn't plan on staying up so long so I didn't pack church stuff. There were also cute girls there. If anybody would like to join me, I'll be going to brian head church from now on.

AM- 4 miles easy barefoot w/half mile warm. Still feeling pretty sick and probably even worse than yesterday. Planning a sick outing with 10 of the guys and 10 of the girls this weekend at my grandparent's cabin on Brian Head. Should be pretty dope.

PM- 4 miles easy Sunrise Tires. Felt pretty bad today because my lunch was way late (like 1:30 after I went and saw Ant Man) and that added on to my sickness so it was a little bit of a struggle towards the end and I had to give myself a minute to recover afterwards, but I was just fine.

BLOG BEAST OF THE DAY goes to Michael Finch for being a freaking beast PV alumni and a great example of dedication to team and sport. Great dude. He is the essence of running and has beast 1 milers that he runs.

AM- Time Trial 1. Still feeling pretty sick. I was appointed to lead the first mile and I was worried a little bit about how I've been feeling lately, but I was able to do it for the team. I stayed up pretty much until 600 meters to the finish and I just died there. Ended in 9th. Big eye opener: our team is good. I am good. We're killing it. Not sure what my time even was. My job was to lead the first mile and I did it, had a bad day today but you'll see a lot of Preston Warby this season! XC4Ever 運行叛徒

AM- 50 minutes easy City Creek. Pretty decent group today and some great banter. Found out today that PV is ranked 12th in Utah (right behind Lehi, Connor). I believe we're going to surprise a lot of people this year. Our summer has been purely mileage based and we had a great time trial yesterday (24 second split between 1st and 10th place for 2 miles with times that are pretty decent on a course like that) and we're looking pretty strong and we're working hard. Most importantly we're having a fun time! Also our girls are ranked 3rd. They're looking absolutely amazing and they're a fun time.

AM- 6 miles easy. Out and back on the temple quarry trail. Fun times! Started to downpour on the way back and there was some pretty freaky lightning but we all survived :) feeling good! Can't wait for Tuesday (cedar all comers). Went on a date with Alli P yesterday and that was way fun. Shoutout to her for being so 😍

BLOG BEAST OF THE DAY goes to Vis for being an awesome coach and friend of mine. He's always a fun guy to talk to.

PM- easy around Navajo lake

AM- Brian Head Peak! We ran up the road and found a trail and ran around to the ski lifts, then climbed up the mountain slipping on rocks and almost dying (or at least Jason thought so). By the end of our climb, we reached 11,307 ft (I think). It was pretty dope. We still had a ton of time so we found another trail, ran down it, then tempo'd 20 minutes back to the cars. Awesome weekend with such an awesome team!
