AM- Today we started at Pine View Park in Washington Fields. We ran 7 miles with 2.5 miles AT tempo. I'm not sure what our pace was, but it was fairly hard. I fell off the main group quite a bit about halfway through the tempo and then I gained some ground by the end and ended up maybe 75-100 meters away from them. My legs felt a little sore from yesterday's hills. I feel like I'm giving crazy amounts of effort towards running for such disappointing results. I don't know. I'm just glad we don't have a double run today. And may the record show that when I wrote this I was on the first page of the mileage board! Woohoo!

I was going to comment that you are a first pager!

Distance running takes a long, long time to see the results. I have already seen tons of improvement with you in a year. With how hard you work, think where this will take you in the years to come... Be positive and keep digging.

Keep believing. You are doing so well this year. The improved commitment and desire make a huge difference. I mean take a look at the 2nd half of your tempo today. That's guts.

Hey thanks coach! You're the best coach ever! Way better then the other one we have. I hope you don't mind me adding a mile and a half tomorrow. I'm getting 50 in this week no matter what!
