AM-Today we did the 30-30 workout. I did not do good at all. I made it to 14 and then couldn't go anymore. I'm still super tired and sore from the 5k. I think I am dehydrated also so I'm going to try to fix that today. We did a mile warmup and then me and Jason went on about a 2 mile cool down to get our mileage.

PM-Ran 3 miles on my own. Went up to the dirt mile from my house and did 2 laps and that didn't quite make three so I ran a little more on my street. And about halfway through my run I ran into coach! Haha. He was running up at the dirt mile for a little bit too. I decided to do this run a little bit easy. I ran an average of 7:24 per mile. And I ended up with a time of 22:14 (which by the way was faster than my first race last year). I'm starting to feel a little better from my soreness and I've been rehydrating a lot today. So I have decided to do a little experiment with the heart rates. I was wondering what my normal heart rate is in contrast with my resting heart rate when I wake up in the morning. So every day for the next little while, I will take my heart rate right when I wake up (6:30am) and at 3:00pm (before my afternoon runs). Today kind of surprised me. In the morning my RHR was 60bpm and at 3:00pm my HR was 60bpm. Isn't our RHR supposed to be lower?
