AM- Accidentally slept in this morning... Unfortunately, Byron did too so I had nobody to wake me up.

PM- .5 warm, 1.5 warm, 1 mile time trial, 1.5 cool. I felt super good today at school, but when we started the warmup I felt super awful (legs felt fine though). We started and I could not find a good position. I went around a huge group of guys around the 200 and I think that really saved my time from being crappy. I crossed the first lap around 1:12. I kept around the same position placewise the whole time and I don't remember the rest of my splits but ended with a 5:02. Just barely off my PR. I'm just so relieved that it was not a deprovement (as a lot of my workouts and races have been going).

What I did well: I ran a nice solid time. I am proud of the time I got even though I could do better.

What I could improve on: Coach talked to me afterwards and he said that I need to stop fighting and just run smoothly. I also think not taking out as fast and just easing into it would help my time too.

Goals for next time: Let's PR this mutha cussa.
