AM: 3 miles. Wasn't too cold this morning... It was a bit chipper though. Felt really refreshing.
PM: 8 miles. After the morning run, I felt really nauseaus for the school day. Really felt like asking coach if I could run something less hard, but decided to try it and see how I did... And I sort of didn't do too great. Even with the nausea I don't think I tried my best. I just need to start thinking less and running more instead of just thinking that I can't do it. I hit my AT time for about 2/3 of the time, but then started to fall off. Afterwards, however, I felt that I did something great because I looked past the nausea and just ran what coach told me to run. That's a big part of commitment... Looking past all your excuses and taking risks and making sacrifices. |
