PM- 3x1600s @5:15 goal Race pace. Our goal was to go First one being 10 seconds fast, Second one 15 seconds slow and third one 5 seconds fast. I did pretty dang well. First one was 5:06, 2nd one was 5:29, 3rd one was 5:11. 200 afterwards nobody told me we were starting so I started from behind and moved my way up. Good day

| | AM- 4 miles easy. Lots of freshmen and sophomores out this morning. It was beautiful
PM- 15minute Tempo w/10x100/100. I struggled today. The tempo went fine until the last couple minutes I fell off a few meters and then on the 100/100 (100F pace, 100 Float pace) I just fell off a lot. I did catch Mitch on the 100/100s though. I was proud of my ability to pack up for the majority of the tempo though. It was killer hot today... Hotter than the devil's microwave in the middle of Australia in January.

| | AM- 4 miles easy Sunrise. Good group of guys.
PM- Pre race 25 minutes w/4x200s. Apparently I missed a sick song by coach Rob because I had to pick up supplies for the aid station at 4.

Cedar Invite (2.95 Miles) 00:15:52, Place overall: 17 | | AM- 4 miles easy, Couldn't wait to race
RACE- Started out really behind where I wanted to be and pretty much passed the whole time until the last mile when I just fell into a rut. Got passed by probably 2 or so guys the last mile and you combine that with my bad position and it was just not the best race, still a PR for the course! Took 3rd on the team (behind Dallen and Mitch... no Nick today). TEAM won with 69 points. Right behind me was Alex, then Carson, then Skylar... I'm interested to hear who will be running at region since we have so many deserving guys... State is in my mind and I'm not letting it slip away like last year. I'm going to go and show that I deserve to be there.

| | AM- got up way early (5:30... not that early) and went out with Carson, Dallen, Jason, Mitch, and Andrew. We ran up the marathon course from the church by stadium 8 on the hilly trail on the side of the road before we had to be at the aid station. Nice easy run and had some good conversation with the guys... idk what I'm going to do when I don't have xc in my life anymore haha.
Marathon Aid Station 22! Pretty sick time with the team until the end when they were throwing water everywhere! It was so awesome to be able to head it up this year and it really was fun. Love those guys.
