| | AM- 2 mile warm, 4x1600@87% (5:21), 2x300, .75 cool. Did this in the morning because SPRING BREAK! Our group consisted of me, Jake, Andrew and Alex, but it was soon evident after we started that it would just pretty much be me and Andrew. First one was a 5:20 and we were already breathing way hard! I honestly thought it would not end up well, but Andrew and I did a great job pushing and switching leads and we ended up going (5:20), 5:21, 5:20, 5:18. Probably the hardest workout (effort wise) I've had in a while. Idk if it's because it's morning coming straight off of a weekend or what, but I'm glad I was able to stick in there. Feeling good about how I've been running lately.
PM- 4 miles easy Dirt Mile at 3:15. Went on a date with Macey and played some Pickleball, had some sandwiches and went to gosnow and that was fun... Especially cause SHE asked ME and payed for everything.
Wow turns out I have 102 monthly views! I'd like to thank all my fans as well as my coach Holt for being kewl and winning a 30k on Saturday for me.
BLOG BEAST OF THE DAY goes to my main bro Controversial Cam for his beast 1000s this morning! He puts out a Controversial topic every day for everyone to discuss and usually it's really dope. Check his blog out.

| | AM- 8 miles easy and 1 mile of striders. Pretty nice day and everyone was doing well until Skylar tried to jump over a 3 foot tall chain, got his foot caught, slammed to the ground, and broke his watch! And to top it all off, Katelyn was there to see it all haha! Going to Cedar at about noon to help my grandpa pick up his new truck, resulting in us 'buying' his old one! ALSO! I was dubbed, by Grandmaster Chiva Alex the Lion, the Stallion Chiva! And just like that, I'm officially part of the Desert Chivas.
Almost forgot, I also saved Skylar's life by pushing him out of the way of an incoming vehicle. Not Skylar's best day.
Also I've decided that AA is the cutest high school runner in all of Utah. She's just wow.
PM- 4 miles easy Dirt Mile again. It was SO fricken hot today, even in my white Lone Peak "Run Like a Champion Today" shirt I was sweating pretty good. Approximately 80degrees Found a legit neon golf ball up there though so that was cool. I'll show anyone who wants to see it.
BLOG BEAST OF THE DAY goes to Rachelle just cause she's a dope runner and also runs with pregnant ladies so that's kewl.

| | AM- 12x400 @kosmin 1600 pace (1:10), 2:00 rec, w/2 miles warm and 1.5 cool. Hit 1:09 and 1:10 for all of them. Really tiring workout. It's supposed to simulate the last or 3rd lap of the 1600. Ran with Andrew, Alex, and Mitch, with Nick just a few seconds ahead. Can never breath very well in the morning, but was able to run pretty well! Hit the weight room after and I'm swoller than ever.
Going to Zion later. Any recommendations for "family-friendly" hikes? If not, we were just gonna hit Observation Point and Emerald Pools...
PM- 4 miles easy Dirt Mile! For those of you who don't know the dirt mile, that's too bad. It's pretty much just a dirt loop that's a mile long. Don't like how people drive up on it though cause it rained a while back and it's all messed up on the finishing stretch! There's also a palm tree graveyard on it and a gateway to the desert! It's so freaking dope. Today's run was pretty quiet and it feels good out there. I like the overcast today.
BLOG BEAST OF THE DAY goes to Alex the Lion! He's a freaking dope freshman who's pretty dang quick. Also, he had a good 400 workout today with me. He mentioned on his yesterday that I saved Skylar so that was nice of him. Check out his blog he's beast

| | AM- 8 miles easy Mustang Pass. Such beautiful scenery especially after rain. We talked a lot about how they keep building houses on our precious desert and how eventually it will all be gone. Coach gave me tips on how to defeat Connor Baller in the 3200m at the PV Invite for the hand of AA. Pretty nice run.
PM- 4 miles easy through Hell Hole to the River Trail. Wow I found out I can get places much quicker by taking the shortcut through the turf farm! Was able to actually make it pretty far today!
Also I'm now up to 166 monthly views! WOW I can't believe you all actually care :) keep up the good work, viewers!
BLOG BEAST OF THE DAY goes to I Just Run because he's a super beast runner and he shares with me the greatest of all the names. Sorry bout the toe dude! Get that better! Everyone check him out!

| | Ugh this is so embarrassing... 8:45... Just woke up... Missed practice... Going down to Hell Hole on my own to do some hills...
AM- Hell Hole Hills 4x1:00, 6x:30. Did about double recovery for all of them. Felt great about how I ran! Went farther on each one of the 1:00 and even hit pretty far up the dirt part on the last one. The 30 second ones were all pretty much at the same finishing spot except the last 2 I went balls to the wall. Especially the last one because there was some lady walking up the hill who I had to impress so I made it about 5 meters farther on the sixth one. Added on a bit in my neighborhood to make it 60 minutes total.
PM- 4 miles easy Dirt Mile. BLAZING hot today or maybe I was just so dehydrated but I was sweating so bad! Wish I lived up north. Somebody is absolutely demolishing the dirt mile and I don't like it! Running on it is my fav past time. Very nostalgic. Dwight Schrute said it best: "Nostalgia is one of the human's greatest weaknesses. Second only to the neck."
BLOG BEAST OF THE DAY goes to freakitypopo! He had a beast tempo worthy of this great honor! Go check him out he's wicked fast
Banged my knee on a hitch a few feet from a ditch. It was really quite rich until it started to itch coulda sworn it was a witch who decided to bewitch my patella. I would want to switch this experience with a baseball pitch to my fingers from my dear teammate Mitch. Seriously my knee's starting to twitch which makes me feel like a glitch. Hopefully this won't interfere with my running niche. Now I'll continue watching Lilo and Stitch.

| | Sorry ran this morning but forgot to blog
AM- 15 minute AT-LT progression (5:40-5:10). Did pretty well. Didn't quite hit LT by the end but was still a good push. Started at the top of parkway and then did a pretty much all downhill run for the tempo (down hell hole through Sullivan park). Since these tempos are what I struggle with, the downhill benefitted me well and allowed me to run strongly, good day all together. Hit the rest of the run pretty slow.
