AM- 3 miles easy AC route. Late again! But that didn't bother me too much. Monday morning soreness as usual. Plyos afterwards. No arch problems.

PM- .5 warm, 1.5 warm, 4x1000m repeats 93%, 1.5 cool. Felt pretty crappy on the warmup because it was so hot and my knee hurt. I was just thinking that it's just 4 repeats so I'll just try to hit my time and have a mediocre workout. We started and I hit a ton better than I thought I would. Goal time: 4:05. First 3 times: 3:54, 3:53, 3:44. On the last one, coach told us to just go hard on it! I was thinking just kill me now. We started the last one and I was in front for quite a bit! I ended the last one at around 3:21. Surprised myself and had a great workout!

AM- 3 miles easy AC route. Pretty easy this morning. Felt no unusual pain.

PM- 4 miles easy and striders. We went the Sandberg route today with going to the park and somehow it ended up at around 4.75 and then we did striders. We went super easy today and it felt really nice.

AM- 3 miles easy. Felt good today. My back was having stabbing pains this morning before the run. Plyos afterwards.

PM- .5 warm, 1.5 warm, time trial, hill sprints, 1.5 cool. Felt not very great on the time trial but for some reason I never do. My back was having stabbing pains for a little bit during the race, but it wasn't a big setback. Ended with a pr 12:07. Could probably have pushed harder but I'm fine with my time. Hills sprints were pretty solid.

AM- 3 miles easy AC route. Showed up on time again! It was pretty easy this morning and had quite a few guys there. We had a "mandatory" meeting afterwards about goals.

PM- .5 warm, 5 miles easy, 4x200. Today Trevor had a wonderful idea about going to the Neon Spider route which none of us had done before. In the run there's a long tunnel that is pitch black and a few of the guys were getting pretty freaked out but we all survived. Felt super good on the 200s. On the last one, Trevor had us imagine he was a Hellian at the end of a race and challenged us all to pass him. I was the first one done haha! Also it was a 200 pr.

AM- 3 miles easy AC route. Good pace this morning and I felt really good! Not a good turnout despite the fact that the varsity guys are up north. On the guy's side, we had me, Dave, Jason, Jake B, Cam B, Josh, Mitch and Bradly.

PM- .5 warm, 1 warm, 3/3s, 4x30 seconds hard, 1 mile cool. I hit 4 3/3s! Which was pretty surprising because I was trying to hit 2! It really surprised me, but I stopped before we started the 5th one. It was way tough. The 4x30s were pretty solid. The first three were okay and the last one, I just cammed it. I went all out and hit the 200 in probably sub 28. Then I cooled down to mileage.

Saturday Run: met up with Jake, Jared, Dave, an Logan to do our 7 miler (last mile hard finish). We decided to make it a fun run and go up Shinob Kibe. We went and little slower for Jared serif as it was his first 7 miler except the last mile we went hard and got around 6:30 on the uphill. It was way fun! This time last year, I would've never thought I'd be able to say running was fun... XC is so flipping awesome!!
