| | Am- 3 miles easy AC route. Felt Monday morning soreness in my legs this morning, but didn't affect me much. Plyos afterwards. Felt good.
PM- .5 warm, 1.5 warm, 3x1000m 95-97%, 1.5 cooldown. Today felt way too easy. I hit 3:45, 3:39, and 3:38. I kinda wish we had to do more it felt so easy. Still pushed it, but wasn't too much of a challenge. Did feel a little nausea because I are right before. Legs felt great. Hopefully I feel this good at the race tomorrow!

Duel in the Desert (3.107 Miles) 00:18:28, Place overall: 7 | | AM- 3 miles easy AC route. Hit 400 miles on my Kinvara 3s today! They are so beat up it's not even funny. Time for some new shoes... Felt good this morning. My legs felt a little sore, but other then that, I felt great.
Duel in the Desert- 1.5 cool, race, then cool to mileage. We started the race and I felt really good. It was pretty much a PV race. There were like 8 of PV making up the top group. We were going and I started to fall back a bit after about half the race. My arch started to have the problem it had a few weeks ago and I just kept falling back! I went from the top 5 to 7th place by the end. I really regret not daring to lead the race because I bet if I had, I would have done a lot better. At the end, I could here the first Hellian right behind me and I did not want him to beat me so I out kicked him in the end. Got a course PR of 18:28, but I still didn't feel like I did my best. Even though DH didn't run their top JV, I think we did really good as a team.

| | AM- 3 miles easy AC route. Pretty easy this morning. Legs hurt pretty bad though. Skylar fell down pretty bad! It was funny.
PM- 4 miles easy Washington route. Was really surprised when coach said we only had 4 miles! We took it a nice easy pace and started to speed up at the end. Can't wait until Nebo this week! It's gonna be legit!
went ahead and added a mile from the parade.

PM- 4 miles easy Greensprings route, 4x200s hard. Felt good on this run. We went a little faster on the way back then the way there for once which was good. Still a pretty easy pace. Felt okay on the 4x200s but could have done better.

Nebo Invitational (3 Miles) 00:17:43, Place overall: 28 | | AM- 3 miles easy felt really good.
Nebo- 1.5 mile warmup, 3 mile race, 1.5 cooldown. Felt really good on the warmup. I started the race right behind Andrew and stayed pretty close to him until the start of the last lap. I rolled my ankle on the track and that hurt so bad. It hurt for about half of the last lap, but at around the same time I rolled my ankle, I had gotten one of the worst sideaches I've ever had. I was stupid and thought that eating 2.5 hours before when it usually takes me 4 hours. BUT I hit a PR either way with a 17:43. My first mile was a PR of 5:28 (shows how great I did in track last year). But what really surprised me was that I hit a 2 mile PR as well! I crossed the 2 mile mark at around 11:30ish and in my trials, I usually don't even go sub-12! I was definitelyon my way to going sub 17:30, but given my surcumstances at the start of the last mile, I think I did alright.

| | AM- Ran a workout on the state course. We did 1.5 warm/cool, 4x3/3s, 5 hill sprints, and 5x100m sprints. I'm not quite sure what the mileage was but I think it was around 7.5-8 miles. I did pretty average on everything. Nothing too extraordinary happened on this workout except that it was freezing, but that didn't really effect my workout.
